Labor and Delivery Photographer

As a doula and labor and delivery photographer, I draw upon my years of experience supporting thousands families through labor, birth, and the early postpartum period as a labor and delivery nurse. So often, the patients I cared for during the first days with their newborn would say, "I wish you could come home with us!" It is truly an honor to be doing just that as I photograph and guide families along their journey through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

I welcome and respect all aspects of people, including gender identity, sexual orientation, family configuration, race, ethnicity, socio-economic background, age religion, and ability. I'm not perfect, but I am in a constant state of learning and improving upon my ability to hold space for each unique journey and experience.

More about me...

Knitting is another creative pursuit of mine. I enjoy knitting hats for the newborns I photograph.

I feel most centered when I am in, on, or near the water. All three of my own children were born in the water: one at a hospital, and two at home!

I’m a naturally quiet, calm and steady person, but am also adventurous and a bit of a risk taker. I like to muck about in nature and go exploring with my husband and three children. Ella, our dog, likes to tag along, too.
